Fine feathers make fine birds, but also luxury watches are defined by their packaging. Anyone who invests their money in a Rolex, Omega or TAG-Heuer also expects a corresponding optical presentation. Not to mention the fact that the boxes are also used to authenticate the watches and are often sold at three-digit prices. In the fourth part of our series, we will introduce you to the TAG Heuer boxes. Unlike the Rolex, Breitling and Omega boxes, it’s harder to find a chronology and so we’ve sorted the boxes by series and sample models.
Overview of individual TAG Heuer series and their boxes

Square, practical and handy – the TAG Heuer Monaco comes in a small, hand-sized box with a raised lid. When you take it off, you will find the instruction guide and the international warranty card. The watch itself is kept in an elegant round leather case. The Monaco with Calibre 17 automatic movement and chronograph rests safely on a cushion.
On top of the box is a leather slipcase with the official TAG Heuer logo, which protects the manual and warranty. The box (dimensions: approx. 13 cm x 13 cm) itself is made of wood and overstitched with leather. The surface of the box is covered with leather, which protects the TAG Heuer Carrera from impacts and shocks. You will find it resting on a cushion on the inside of the box and framed by a thin, dark brown wooden insert.

Regarding the Box, which underwent an upgrade to approx. 15 cm x 15 cm, the name says it all. A dark brown wooden box protected by flow rests under a pleasant, velvety box. If you lift it up, you will find a white leather slipcase with instructions, guarantee and COSC certification. Due to its hinges, the box itself can be opened very comfortably. The interior is also upholstered in white leather to ensure your Grand Carrera arrives safely.

If you remove the lid from the outer box, the front of the lid folds open and reveals a narrow space in the bottom where the manual and warranty are stored. The box itself is covered in leather with the logo stamped on it. Outside in chocolate brown, the inner is snow-white and padded with leather.

TAG Heuer’s latest innovation also comes in an exciting new box. With its blue, transparent hard plastic look and a stainless-steel logo and engraved clockwork on the front, it is a real eye-catcher. Instructions for commissioning the TAG Heuer Connected as well as the warranty card are again stored in a slipcase under the box. The watch itself rests on a round cushion that you can use as an anti-stress ball in a nice twist. A blue paper box contains the charging station, micro USB cable and wall plug.
It is also worth paying attention to the boxes of special editions. The TAG Heuer Golf Edition, for example, comes like the TAG Heuer Connected Special Edition Golf with three custom golf balls.
