For the TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer 01 “Alec Monopoly Edition” (Ref. CAR201J.FT6087) the Swiss luxury watchmaker has teamed up with the American graffiti artist Alec. Always on high alert for the police and the authorities, the artist began to portray himself as a version of the Monopoly man with a bandana and top hat that he often painted. This is the same figure that appears on the graffiti-style dial of the TAG Heuer. The sapphire crystal back of this limited edition also bears the artist's signature. Alec Monopoly has been TAG Heuer's brand ambassador ever since and embodies the watchmaker’s motto “Don't crack under pressure” more than anybody else.

With a rose gold case and brown leather strap, the Carrera (Ref. WAS2140.FC8176) is virtually exotic in comparison to the other current models. The dial is white with wave patterns and Arabic numerals. A date display is also incorporated at the foot of the small seconds dial at 6 o'clock. This watch stands out and is very different from the current orientation of the TAG Heuer Carrera series. However, its highly noble appearance and the case diameter of 39 mm make this watch a firm fan favourite, especially among fans of classic watches. The Grand Carrera (Ref. CAV518B.FC6237) is a stunning, sporty-looking, mid-range chronograph. This model already has some elements that have been used to refine the current collection. The dial is anthracite and houses two disc systems that permanently rotate to display the seconds. In particular, the 43 mm case diameter may be of interest for those who think the 45 mm case of the Carrera Heuer 01 is too large.
