The Omega Speedmaster is one of the world’s best-known chronographs and has belonged to the collection since 1957. After being qualified by NASA for manned space flights, it was worn as the first wristwatch on the moon in 1969 and has borne the nickname Moonwatch ever since. The tachymeter scale, the clearly legible subdials and the distinctive, sporty design have characterised the family to this day.
