Design and technology of the Master Collection series
On a technical level, the Longines Master Collection
is a continuation of the brand's engineering masterpieces and offers all models with a mechanical movement
that can be admired through a sapphire crystal back. The design of the dial ranges from minimalist understatement to complex variations in which a second time zone can be read in tandem. Thanks to its comparably affordable prices, the series quickly became a bestseller at Longines and was expanded to include various models such as chronographs with or without moon phases.
In 2017, Longines launched the Blue Edition
, giving wearers even more dial colour options. The distinctive dials are now also available in powerful marine blue or sparkling silver.
