Navitimer

The Breitling Navitimer is the brand's most famous pilot's chronograph and has been part of the collection since 1952. It was developed for pilots and is fitted with the slide-rule bezel, which allows calculations such as speed, fuel consumption or rate of climb to be made directly on the wrist. Characteristic features are the dense, functional dial with the chronograph counters and the knurled bezel. The Navitimer is available in various sizes, materials and versions, from the classic chronograph to modern interpretations. It is thus a watch that is as distinctive as it is versatile, with an unmistakable character, in the cockpit as in everyday life.

The AB0121211B1A1 with its 43 mm case is the Navitimer in stainless steel, combined with a steel link bracelet. The rotating, fluted slide rule bezel is part of the specification here, along with a chronograph and date display. The combination of steel case and steel bracelet gives this reference a sober, consistently metallic look.
