The Omega Speedmaster is one of the world's best-known chronographs and has belonged to the collection since 1957. After being qualified by NASA for manned space flights, it was worn as the first wristwatch on the moon in 1969 and has borne the nickname Moonwatch ever since. The tachymeter scale, the clearly legible subdials and the distinctive, sporty design have characterised the family to this day. Whether as a classic Moonwatch or as a modern interpretation in various sizes: the Speedmaster combines tool watch and icon into a versatile companion for every day.
At 38 mm in diameter, the ref. 324.30.38.50.01.001 is one of the smaller Speedmaster variants and also suits slimmer wrists. The steel case features a tachymeter bezel in black aluminium and is paired with a steel link bracelet with folding clasp.
This example with a black dial is in excellent condition. It comes as a full set with the original papers and the original box.
