Submariner

The Rolex Submariner is the icon among diver's watches and has been part of the collection since 1953. It was the first wristwatch waterproof to 100 metres, and in doing so set the benchmark for an entire genre. The unidirectional rotating bezel for monitoring dive time, the waterproof Oyster case and the easily legible luminous hour markers make it a reliable instrument underwater. Available with and without a date display, it is as much at home in everyday life as it is on a dive.

The 14060, with its 40 mm steel case, was produced from 1990 to 2012 and is the Submariner without a date display, showing hours, minutes and seconds. The black bezel suits its straightforward legibility, and it comes on the steel Oyster bracelet with folding clasp.

This example with a black dial is in excellent condition. It comes as a full set with the original papers and the original box. Production of this model has been discontinued - this is a sought-after collector's piece!
